Wm. BROWN\u2019s<\/strong> Company, and served until the close of the war; was wounded twice, first in the Battle of Fishers\u2019 Hill in the Valley of Va., in 1864; second in 1865 on the retreat from Petersburg to Appomattox being the last soldier to be wounded in the brigade to which he belonged; in early life he was a carpenter; married <b>Sallee PETREE<\/b> July 25, 1873; member of F. &amp; A.
