B., June 19, 1878; Columbian University with degree LL.B., June 20, 1881; reared on farm; married <strong>Dixie WELCKER<\/strong>, Feb. 4, 1886; was captain \u201cKnoxville Rifles\u201d State Militia, 1887-1888;\u00a0 member Oriental Lodge F. &amp; A.
