C.; son of <strong>Jesse M. L. <\/strong>and <strong>Henrietta Sarah (Cody) Burnett;<\/strong> father\u2019s occupation, minister of the gospel; paternal grandparents <strong>Swann<\/strong> and <strong>Frances (Bell) BURNETT<\/strong>, maternal grandparents, <strong>Edmund<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah (Henderson) CODY<\/strong>; graduated from Richmond (Va.) College with degree A. B. 1891, Southern Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky., 1894, received degree D.
