C.; son of Jesse M. L. and Henrietta Sarah (Cody) BURNETT<\/strong>; father\u2019s occupation, minister of the gospel; paternal grandparents Swann and Frances (Bell) BURNETT<\/strong>, maternal grandparents, Edmund and Sarah (Henderson) CODY<\/strong>; graduated from Richmond (Va.) College with degree A. B. 1891, Southern Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky., 1894, received degree D.
