(Anderson) SEVIER<\/strong>; Scotch-Irish-French Huguenot descent; his great-great-grandfather<strong>, Robert SEVIER<\/strong>, brother of <strong>Gov. John SEVIER<\/strong>, was a soldier of the Revolution, and fell at King\u2019s Mountain; his great-grandfather, <strong>Major Charles SEVIER<\/strong>, after returning from battle of New Orleans under Jackson, located at Jackson, Tenn.; and his grandfather, <strong>John Quinturf SEVIER<\/strong>, was fourteen years sheriff of Haywood Co., Tenn.; his father, <strong>Dr. Charles Henry SEVIER<\/strong>, practiced medicine and surgery at Brownsville, Tenn., for forty years; educated High School, Brownsville, Tenn., graduated Vanderbilt University, D. D. S.; married <strong>Ida M. SUTHERLIN<\/strong>, Paris, Tenn., April 25, 1899; member Elks, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity; began practice of dentistry at Paris, Tenn., Aug. 13, 1893; moved to Jackson, Tenn., March 10, 1897; where he is now practicing his profession; Inventor \u201cShield and Moistener for Dental Tools;\u201d president Tenn.
