Court Clerk of Sumner Co., Tenn., from Sept., 1886, to Sept. 1, 1910; now a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Tenn., and has been since 1898; vice-president of First Nat. Bank of Gallatin, Tenn.; secretary of Sumner Co. (Tenn.), Farmer\u2019s Mutual Fire Insurance Co., Capt. C. A. University of Tenn., 1876-1877; Capt. Uniform Rank Knights of Pythias Gallatin (Tenn.)
