LAWRENCE, Daniel Windslow, <\/strong>teacher and minister;\u00a0 born Grant Co., Ind., Aug. 27, 1851; son of Thomas H.<\/strong> and Anna Maria (Cox) LAWRENCE<\/strong>; paternal grandfather Peter LAWRENCE<\/strong>, paternal grandmother Sarah (Hinshaw) LAWRENCE<\/strong>, maternal grandfather William COX<\/strong>, maternal grandmother Miriam (Winslow) COX<\/strong>; English, Scotch, Irish <\/strong>and Welsh descent; educated Earlham College, Richmond, Ind., from which he graduated June 30, 1880, with degree B. S.; his early business occupation was farming; married Elizabeth E. WINDLE <\/strong>Sept. 1, 1881; she died in 1895 and Dec 25, 1901, married Piety F.
