(Herrick) MOREY<\/strong>; father\u2019s occupation, minister of the gospel; paternal grandfather Ira MOREY<\/strong>, paternal grandmother was a Miss SHAW<\/strong> prior to her marriage, maternal grandparents Ephraim and Marilla (Spencer) HERRICK<\/strong>; educated in the common schools of Greeneville and Franklin, Tenn.; served in C. S. A. 32d Tenn. Regiment Brown\u2019s Brigade 1862-1865; engaged in business in Boston, Mass., after the war; married Louisa H. BROUGHTON<\/strong> Aug. 13, 1868; entered firm in crockery and glass business in 1881, Boston, Mass., senior partner in 1888, sold out in 1890 and moved to Tenn. May 16, 1890, where he entered business and became treas. of Brown Mfg.
