DUGGER, Oscar Milton<\/strong>, editor and publisher; born in Greene Co., Tenn., April 25, 1872; German-English-Irish descent; son of John Shields and Susan (Davis) DUGGER<\/strong>; father\u2019s occupation planted and stock dealer; paternal grandparents William and Sarah (Brabson) DUGGER<\/strong>; maternal grandparents John and Sarah (McNees) DAVIS;<\/strong> graduated from Washington & Tusculum College with degree of B. S., in 1898, degree of A. M., in 1910; began his business career as a school teacher; later entered newspaper work and is now owner and editor of \u201cGreeneville Democrat,\u201d Greeneville Tenn., married twice; first Fannie A. FOWLER<\/strong> in 1897; second Ida ATWELL<\/strong> March 1, 1905; member I. O. O. F., and Jr. O. U. A. M.; Democrat; delegate to Democratic National Convention St. Louis, Mo., 1904; Superintendent Greene Co., Tenn., Schools 1907-19011 \/sic\/; <\/em>President of East Tenn., Teacher\u2019s Association 1910; member State Reading Circle Board since 1907; member of Presbyterian church U. S.
