General Assembly 1907-9-11; assistant attorney-general for Fifth Judicial Circuit 1907-8; author of the state wide prohibition bill enacted in 1909; floor leader of the senate majority Tenn. General Assembly 1909; former vice-president and stockholder in People\u2019s Bank, Cookeville (Tenn.); engaged in the active practice of law at Cookeville; also has farming interests; Democrat; member of M.
