July 27, 1867; English-Scotch descent; son of <strong>John Langford<\/strong> and <strong>Adeline (Howard)\u00a0 HAYNES<\/strong>; his father being a railroad conductor; educated Winchester Normal School and at Goodman\u2019s Business College, Nashville, Tenn., graduating from the latter institution 1888; began life as railroad trainman, later became express messenger, afterward a bookkeeper and business man; owns the business known as Haynes Furniture Co.; married twice, first, <strong>Annie PARMER<\/strong>, of Nashville, Tenn. Oct. 1891; second, <strong>Eva WORD<\/strong>, Decherd, Tenn., March 1901; member of A. F. &amp; A. M.
