S. degree in 1889; entered the educational work in early life; married twice, first <strong>Mary SAMPSON<\/strong>, in 1890, second <strong>Willard SAMPSON<\/strong>, in 1910; member I. O. O. F.; Democrat; former Superintendent of Public Instruction in Smith Co., Tenn., and Principal Tenn. School for the Blind at Nashville, \u00a01907-08-09; at present Principal Decaterville (Tenn.)
