SWAFFORD, Jesse Brown<\/strong>, <\/strong>lawyer; born Bledsoe Co., Tenn., July 6, 1866; Scotch-Irish-Dutch descent; son of Samuel <\/strong>and Eliza (Roberson) SWAFFORD; <\/strong>\u00a0education People\u2019s College, Pikeville, Tenn.; graduated in law from Cumberland University, Lebanon, June, 1888; married Hannah DARWIN<\/strong> Dec. 18, 1895; member Dayton Lodge I. O. O. F.; is Past Grand of the same; member Dayton Lodge F. & A. M.; is Worshipful Master of the same and is a member of Chapter No. 121 R. A. M. (Master of 3rd<\/sup> V.); member Harriman Council No. 87 R. & S. M.; Democrat; represented the 9th<\/sup> Senatorial District in Upper House Tenn.
