And Eliza (Alexander) MCCONNICO;<\/strong> educated preparatory schools and Burritt College and Peabody College; graduated Burritt College 1885 with degree of B.A.; began business career as a teacher; married <strong>Axa SPARKMAN<\/strong> May 22, 1889; member of Knights of Pythias and Masons; taught school in Texas in 1886-7; Co-Principal of Tennessee Female College, also Franklin Male Academy, Franklin, Tenn.; seven years Principal Theta Training School; four years Principal Cheatham County High school; was for one year editor of \u201cThe School and Farm;\u201d identified with farming interests; member of Christian church.<\/p>\n<p><em>Editorial Note: \u00a0Z.A.
