HORNE<\/strong>, July 8, 1885; member of K. of P., B. P. O. E., Century Club, Columbia; member Legislature 1899; Colonel on staff of <strong>Governor McMILLIN<\/strong> 1899-1900; appointed World\u2019s Fair commissioner by <strong>Governor FRAZIER<\/strong> for the Seventh Congressional District; organized Lynnville Bank &amp; Trust Company 1890; President of same until converted into the First National Bank, of which he is now President; President of Farmers &amp; Merchants\u2019 Bank, Columbia, from 1895 until combined with Maury National Bank 1909; \u00a0Vice-President Maury National Bank; organizer and President Tennessee Valley Fertilizer company, Florence, Ala., which joined the International Agricultural Corporation of New York, he is Secretary; Officer and Director in several phosphate companies; member Christian Church.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>City:\u00a0 Columbia FRY, John W., banker; born Fourteenth District, Giles County, Tenn., July 10, 1859; son of William and Mary J.
