C. Military Academy; educated preparatory schools at Greeneville, S. C., South Carolina College, and Virginia Seminary; graduated from the latter institution; married <strong>Louise Drane WOLDRIDGE<\/strong> June 29, 1904; member Masons, Elks, K. of P., and Century Club, Columbia, Tenn.; member of Episcopal church; in early life was a newspaper correspondent; entered the ministry as rector of St. John\u2019s church, Farmville, Va., in 1901; became rector of St. Peter\u2019s church, Columbia, Tenn., 1901, and still has charge of that parish; is also president of Columbia Institute and College for Women, which position he has held since 1906; Democrat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>City:\u00a0 Columbia CAPERS, Walter Branham, educator, clergyman; born Greensville, S.
