ALEXANDER<\/b>, widow of <b>Albert G. ALEXANDER<\/b>, a prominent farmer of Rutherford County, Tenn., was born March 31, 1814, in Virginia. \u00a0<b>Mr.\u00a0<\/b><b>Albert G. ALEXANDER<\/b>, a native of this State, was born August 8, 1810, and is the son of <b>Daniel and Sarah (Alexander) ALEXANDER<\/b>. \u00a0He was one of the early settlers of this county, coming here with his parents about 1827. \u00a0He was an extensive and very successful farmer, and himself and family were leading members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. \u00a0His death occurred February 26, 1862. \u00a0His wife, <b>Mrs. Anne E<\/b>., still lives on the old homestead. \u00a0To <b>Mr. and Mrs. ALEXANDER<\/b> were born five children: \u00a0<b>Eliza J.<\/b> Madison (who died in March, 1862, in the prison of Camp Butler, Ill., during the war), <b>Robert L<\/b>., <b>Elizabeth<\/b> and <b>Ophelia<\/b>. \u00a0<b>Mrs. Annie E.
