B. May, 1900; in early life was in the grocery business; married <b>Annie WHITFIELD<\/b> Nov. 1, 1900; member R. of P., I. O. O. F. and Elks; mayor of Waverly for six years previous to Aug. 1908, when he was elected attorney-general 9<sup>th<\/sup> judicial circuit of Tenn., and re-elected Aug., 1910, without opposition; member of Presbyterian church U. S.
