M.; K. of P.; W. O. W.; Clerk of Melrose Camp No. 50 W. O. W.; County Court Clerk, Hardin Co., Tenn.; first elected Aug. 1906 and again Aug. 1910; attended common schools about two months in summer or winter until he was 21 years of age; in autumn of 1892 went to Athens Tenn., U. S.
