(Myers) BILLINGSLEY<\/strong>; father was a farmer and stock raiser; paternal grandparents Samuel and Nancy (Mulkey) BILLINGSLEY;<\/strong> maternal grandparents John D. and Mary (Snoddy) MYERS<\/strong>; educated at Burritt College, and Union Academy; graduated from Burritt College A. B. June 1873, M. A., 1875; began teaching immediately after graduation, as principal of Eaton Institute, 1873-75, principal Onward Seminary 1875-89, president of Burritt College 1889 to 1911; instructor and conductor in State Institutes from 1899-1910; former Co. Supt., president State Assn.
