GRIFFITH<\/strong>, March 4, 1858; member Masons (Royal Arch), G. A. R. (Post 25, Garfield) of Athens; Past Master of Meridian Sun Lodge of Athens, Tenn.; formerly Circuit Court Clerk of Meigs County, Tenn.; Chairman of the County Court (McMinn County, Tenn) 4 years; Assistant Clerk House of Representatives of Tennessee 1881-82; Postmaster at Athens 1889-94; First Lieutenant and R. Q. M.
