JETER<\/b>, Sept. 6, 1882; he is a Mason, Knight Templar and Odd Fellow Past N. G. Chaplain; served on staffs of Governors Vardeman and Patterson, former, 1903-06, latter, May, 1909, holding rank of Colonel; served in Confederate army four years, enlisting April 1861, 15<sup>th<\/sup> Tenn. (Bates) Infantry; was wounded three times in battles of Chickamauga, Lost Mountain and Jonesboro, Ga.; member M.
