WOODARD, John R., attorney at law; born Fayetteville, Tenn., Dec. 20, 1882; Scotch-English descent; son of Milton Wright and Ida (Hatcher) WOODARD; father’s occupation, attorney at law; graduated Morgan School of Fayetteville 1903 and Trinity College, Durham, N. C., with degree of B. A. in 1906; member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity; treasurer of Mission Ridge taxing district; member of First Presbyterian church; studied law at Trinity Law School 1907-8; admitted to bar fall of 1908 and entered the practice of the profession at Chattanooga, Tenn.
