WALKER, Thomas Bruce, banker; born Henry Co., Tenn., May 16, 1855; son of George W. and Mildred (Anderson) WALKER; Scotch descent; educated institutions of learning in Henry Co.; married Lavinia JONES June 21, 1894; father’s occupation, merchant and trader; entered banking business in 1907 with the Citizens’ Bank of Paris as 1st vice-president (active), the Citizens’ Bank was changed in 1908 to First National Bank, of which institution he is now vice-president; he is also treasurer of Preston Hotel Co., Paris, Tenn.; he is also a land owner and stock raiser, is stockholder in various corporations in Paris and Nashville, Tenn.; public guardian of Henry Co.; member and former Elder First Christian church of Paris, Tenn.
