A. degree 1900; later received B. L. from same; also graduated from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va., with L.L. B. June 1904; married Alpha L. RICHARDSON June 6, 1906; Master Mason, Royal Arch and 32d degree; member K. of P.; Republican; County Attorney for Washington Co., Tenn., since Jan. 1908; in early life he taught school; later studied law and admitted to bar in 1904; has practiced law at Bristol and Johnson City, Tenn., since admission to bar; now practicing attorney at Johnson City, Tenn.; member of the firm of Cox & Sells; member of the Presbyterian church.
