Association at the age of 19, oldest fair in the State, and has held position for 16 years; has been editor and publisher of the Alexandria Times for sixteen years; voted by gathering of newspaper man in state of Tennessee; director of the Bank of Alexandria; owner of several business houses Alexandria (Tenn.), secretary, general manager and principal owner of the Alexandria (Tenn.) Fair Association; member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
