V. PICKARD Dec. 28, 1870; member Masons, Odd Fellows and Woodmen of the World; Democrat; member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church; formerly traveling evangelist for 25 years, witnessing about 30,000 converts; corresponding secretary of the Board of Missions, Cumberland Presbyterian church four years.
