(Mebane) POLLARD; married Susan COWLES, August 27, 1867; served in Confederate army four years, having surrendered at Greensboro, N. C.; has held office of County Judge, Davidson County, since 1902, having been re-elected for a term of eight years from September 1, 1910; member of Knights of Pythias and Elks; member M. E. Church, South.
