OLMSTED, Henry Seymour, real estate and insurance; born Dunlap, Iowa, June 26, 1881; son of H. T. and Mary (Seymour) OLMSTED; English-French descent; graduate Union College, Schnectady [sic], N. Y., B. S. 1904; married Avis BEENE, January 17, 1910; member Elks, Phi Gama [sic] Delta Greek Letter Fraternity, Chamber of Commerce, Mountain City Club, Golf and Country Club; in 1904 went to New York City with the Title Guarantee & Trust Company; in 1906 returned to Chattanooga and engaged in business with his father, whom he and brother Rowland W. OLMSTED, succeeded in 1908; firm name changed to H. T. Olmsted Sons; member Second Presbyterian Church.
