Not sure where the ‘Dutch’ coms from, maybe the maternal iine. The Mauks are German, Peter Mauk came from Germany and was the first person naturalized in Frederick Co VA. His wife Juliana Rheinhart was also German. The Lattures were from Alsace Lorraine, Huegenots.
