MARR, Thomas Scott, architect; born Nashville, Tenn., October 20, 1867; English, Scotch, and French descent; son of Thomas Scott and Delia (Tarbox) MARR; father was a banker and broker; educated in the School for Deaf at Knoxville, Tenn., and Massachusetts Institute of Technology; graduated National Deaf Mute College, Washington, D. C., 1889, with B.S. degree; began his career as a draughtsman; member Vine Street Christian Church, Nashville, Tenn.
