A. and Arienia (Phillips) MARCUM;; father’s occupation farming; educated at New River (Tenn) Academy; began his career as a school teacher; married Lizzie KEETON, March, 1898; Democrat; Election Commissioner of Scott Co., Tenn., two terms, 1905 and 1909; justice of the peace of Scott Co., Tenn.; member of Baptist church.
