LARKIN, Michael S., contractor; born Memphis, Tenn., May 10, 1866; of Irish descent; son of John and Johanna (Murphy) LARKIN; father’s occupation general contractor; educated in common schools of Memphis, Tenn.; in early life he was a contractor, and engaged in street paving, etc.; began general contracting business in Memphis, Tenn., in 1906; prior to that time he was in building contracting for about twenty years under firm name of M. Larkin; married Mary KILLFOILE, March 3, 1908; member of Business Men’s Club, of Memphis, Tenn.; Roman Catholic.
