(Cotham) LANCASTER; father was a minister of the gospel; educated in the Perry Co. (Tenn.) country schools; entered farming in early life; married Mary E. DENSON, June 16, 1872; member Perry Lodge No. 325, F. and A. M., Past Master; Democrat; Judge of the Co. Court of Perry Co., Tenn., April, 1904, Sept., 1910; served as private in Co. F, 53d Tenn. Vol., C. S. A.; member of the Christian church.
