CALLOWAY, Dec. 11, 1899; member Masonic Lodge 32d degree; I.O.O.F., and Elks; Democrat; former Democratic nominee for State Senator and member of Lower House Gen. Assembly of Tenn.; elected Magistrate; member of Board of Public Works of Knoxville, Tenn.; former Superintendent of Public Instruction for Knox Co., Tenn., six years, and President of State Teachers Association; member of Baptist Church.
