M. and is active in lodge work, having held every place and station in Zollicoffer Lodge No. 444; Democrat; formerly Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Trustee; member of Methodist church.

His wife’s maiden name was actually “Mauk” not “Mank”. The A.J. stood for “Andrew Johnson”. His brother David was my 2nd Great-grandfather.
