C., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky.; graduated Wake Forest with A.M. degree 1877, D.D. 1895; married Lizzie HANDLY, March 6, 1888; author “Mormon Monster,” “Folk-McQuiddy Discussion on Plan of Salvation,” “Baptist Principles,” “Southern Pilgrims in Eastern Lands,” and various lectures and addresses; has served as pastor at Murfreesboro, Tenn., Millersburg, Ky., Albany, Ga.; editor of Baptist and Reflector since 1888; President Sunday School Board Southern Baptist Convention since 1895; President Tennessee Anti-Saloon League,, 1899-1911; Vice-President and stockholder in the Folk-Keelin Printing Company, President Baptist Publishing Company, publishers of Baptist and Reflector.
