Fraternity; County Attorney (Hamilton County) two terms, 1899-1900; elected General Assembly Tennessee Legislature 1893; Adjutant Fourth Tennessee Volunteer Infantry in war with Spain; served in Cuba; member of faculty College of Law; nominee for Judge Supreme Court of Tenn by Democratic party 1910.
