State Bar Assn. and Business Men’s Club; Democrat; Atty.-Gen. of 14th judicial circuit of Tenn. for sixteen years; member of Board of Law Examiners of Tenn., 1903-1910; chairman Board of Election Commissioners Shelby Co., Tenn., 1906; member of Missionary Baptist church; engaged in the practice of law.
