BUNNELL, Isaac Newton, farmer; born in Gibson Co., Tenn., 1849; Irish descent; son of Isaac Newton and Lavinia (O’Neil) BUNNELL; received common school education; married Miller WEIDMAN in 1892; second wife Jennie SKIPPER 1909; Democrat; delegate to State Democratic Gubernatorial Convention when Robert L. TAYLOR was first nominated for governor; his father moved to Dyer Co. in 1849 and blazed the first road west of Dyersburg and established his home three miles west of Dyersburg; the subject of this sketch has been engaged in mercantile business but now confines his attention to agriculture and banking; member M.
