BOWLES, Allie V.; born Oct. 17, 1873, at Camden, Benton Co., Tenn.; son of J. B. BOWLES, who is a merchant now of Big Sandy, Tenn.; he is the senior member of the dry goods firm of A. V. Bowles & Co. at Camden, his brother, M. C. BOWLES, is the junior member of the firm; he was educated in the country schools of Benton Co. and Memphis, and resided for several years in Memphis until he moved to Camden and organized the mercantile firm which he is still running.
