Victor, physician and surgeon; born Sevierville, Tenn., Nov. 16, 1883; Scotch-Irish descent; son of James A. and Emma (Montgomery) HENDERSON; father’s occupation, physician and surgeon; educated at Carson-Newman College, Baker-Himel School; graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical Dept. with degree M. D. May, 1907; in early life was a farmer; married Maude Lee HENDERSON June 12, 1907; member Masonic Blue Lodge Chapter and Knights Templar and Knights of Pythias; Capt. And Assistant Surgeon of National Guards of Tenn.; now Chief Surgeon for the La Follette Coal, Iron & Ry. Co.; local surgeon for the Southern and L. & N. Ry. Co.
