(Sayers) CROCKETT; English, Irish, Scotch, Danish, French and Italian descent; paternal grandparents Andrew and Catherine Walker (Bell) CROCKETT; maternal grandparents James Jefferson and Anne M. (Taliaferro) SAYERS; educated Montgomery Bell Academy in public schools; graduated from Vanderbilt University B.S. 1892; entered legal profession shortly thereafter and has since been, and is now, engaged in the practice of law at Nashville and Franklin, former Circuit Court Clerk of Williamson Co., and was also Clerk and Master of Chancery Court of Williamson Co. from 1899 to 1905; married Louise PARKES Nov. 9, 1899; Past Chancellor Orestes Lodge No. 10, K. of P., is Royal Arch Mason; member of M.
