ALLEN Jan. 12, 1877; member of Odd Fellows; Republican; former postmaster of Decatur (Tenn.); census enumerator in 1900 and 1910; began teaching eighteen years of age and taught in the public schools Meigs Co. Tenn. thirty-two years; is at present interested in merchandise and farming; member of Baptist church.
