P., farmer; born Andersonville, Tenn., Oct. 3, 1846; of Scotch-Irish parentage; educated common schools and Carson and Newman College, Jefferson City, Tenn.; was for many years intimately identified with Fast Tennessee Farmers Convention as vice-president, secretary, and for three years president; former president of East Tennessee Horticultural Society and East Tennessee Good Roads Association; at present member of Anderson Co. (Tenn.) High School Board, and is Superintendent of Pikes of Anderson Co., Tenn.

James Knox P. Wallace 1846-1929 was the son of John M. Wallace and Rosannah Mills Lamar.
