Y.; married Alice BANNISTER, June 25, 1890; Trustee of Carnegie Free Public Library; member Board of Education of M. E. Church; ordained M. E. Ministry, 1890; Prof of Greek and Rhetoric, Wyoming Seminary, Pa., 1890-94; pastor Centenary Church, Binghamton, N. Y. , 1894-1898; president of Grant University, 1898-1906, also president of its successor, University of Chattanooga, since 1896; contributor to various publications, etc.
