Volume 2, no page number, as written

     Virginia P. TUCK HAWKS was born Jan 10, 1849.  Departed this life Dec. 26, 1927. 
     She was married to Robert HILLMON HAWKS Dec. 1866. To this union ten children were born, five of which are dead.  Four sons and one daughter are living. 
     She leaves besides the five children twenty four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a number of relatives and friends to mourn her death. 
     Her husband preceded to the grave twenty-eight years. 
     She professed faith in Christ in early life and joined the church at Thompson's Creek where she will be sadly missed having been a faithful and consecrated member till God called her away.
     She was a good neighbor and willing to sacrifice duties at home to help in time of sickness.
     The church will surely miss her, but feel that she is happy in a better place than here.  She was buried at Wesley's Chapel.  Funeral services conducted by T. N. HALE.
