Obituary
 
Mrs. Sarah Tate was born on Jan, 25, 1830, and died Dec 1 1916. age 86 years.
She was married to William Tate in 1847.
To this union was born four children two boys and two girls.  The husband and both girls preceded her to the grave.  she leaves two sons and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn her death.
She was a native of the state of North Carolina but moved to Tennessee when young.  She professed faith in Christ in early life and united with Thompson Creek Church in 1867 and lived a consecrated life until called home.  She loved her church and in her younger days was a regular attendant.  She was one among Thompson Creek's oldest members Having been a member forty nine years.  But she has filled her mission and is now at rest.
Resolved that the sympathy of the church be extended to the breaved relatives.
