Obituary of Sarah Jane Spears
 
Death has again taken another one of our dear church members.  Sister Sarah Jane Spears departed this life on the 6th of August 1918.  She was the wife of James Spears.  She was born in June, 1861.  Sister Spears professed a hope in the Saviour at thirteen years of age and joined the missionary Babtist Church at Thompson Creek while quite young and where she lived until death claimed her.  She has gone to her reward for the good done while here on earth.  She leaves behind, her husband, one son, two brothers and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
