Obituary
Sister Nancy Foster died at
her home two miles west of Como. Death has made its inroad in our
Church at Thompson Creek taken away from us Sister Nancy Foster.
Sister Foster was born November 27- 1843. Died Sept. 10- 1898 age
fifty four years nine months and thirteen days. was married to
Will G. Foster Aug 16- 1859. Professed faith in Christ soon after
marriage. Joined Thompson Creek baptist Church where she lived a
faithful and consistant member until death. She was a devoted wife a
kind and loving mother. She was afflicted for several months but
bore her affliction with Christian patience and when death came she was
ready to go.
She leaves behind three sons and a host of relatives and friends to
mourn her death. Resolved in her death the church has lost a
consistant member.
Resolve that the Church and bereaved family have our deepest sympathy.
Resolved that a copy of these resolutions be spread on the church book
and a copy furnished the family and the Baptist and Reflector.
Done by order of the church on Saturday before 2nd Sunday in Mar. 1899.
